I just bought a Rav4 and I love it! Doggettt Toyota is the best! They went all the way to Houston to get the one I wanted and had it there for me the next day. It has a lot of features that I've never had in a car and the salesman took time to explain everything in detail. I will always buy a vehicle from Doggett Toyota.

I paid $406.00 for a transmission fluid change, but later discovered it wasn’t done. I returned to the dealership to address the issue, and although the Service Manager insisted the service was completed, I wasn’t convinced. Ultimately, I only received a 50% refund instead of the full amount

My Rav 4 was due for scheduled maintenance Monday. School dismissed early Friday and Doggett staff graciously change appt time to see me at 1:00. Upon arrival the Service Asst promptly greeted me and checked in. He asked if I need anything addl. besides oil change and said I could make myself comfortable in waiting area. Checking out Mr. Melvin noted Service a recommendation was air filters need to be changed soon. He quoted the price, time to change them and I agreed. In less than 15 minutes it was finished. KUDOS to you Mr. Melvin for explaining what was needed without pressuring. Thank you Mr. Melvin for promptly assisting me and your unwavering professionalism....

My experience was not the best, I would not return again in the future for possible business with this dealership, this rating is based on the entire process to get the car, the negotiation with sales was ok, let's say that they force you to obtain things which you don't need if you want the car, come on! The money is not given away, it must be paid through a loan. MY OWN MONEY. But they did the best with the interest rate. Then, the agreement did not match with the prices that had been negotiated. I had a strong conversation with the finance representative, I was asking about the cash price box, which did not match the negotiated numbers (only the tax sales, documentation and GAP was the correct number on the agreement), but their response was that it was the correct amount and that I had to do the calculations based on the amount financed and the computer calculations were right and a lot of years o experience, he NEVER helped me with the calculations, number by number to be able to obtain the details of every total amount in that agreement, if you are a good financier you just take paper and pencil and explain to the client each detail, addition, subtraction and percentages for taxes. But he prefered to explain very technical financial terms. I really got bored and tired about the situation and I said ok ok after he explained about to remove a service… I am still waiting to see reflected the amount that he indicated will decrease after a maintenance service that I did not want it and he supposed to remove it. Honestly, don’t call me back in the future to get another car in this dealership.

It was not a good experience doing business here. I was doing all of this remotely, so everything was by phone. I had many questions that the salesman (James, seems like a nice kid he worked hard during the negotiations) could not answer, which is fine, and he said that I needed to talk to financing to have those specific questions answered. So, when financing eventually called me, the first thing out of their mouth was "where can we send the papers to sign?" " back up, I still have questions" I replied. They did not like this. The financing manager (Darren) became very defensive and made mention a few times "maybe we shouldn't do business." I was fine with that, because this was very poor treatment. I liked the car but I didn't "need" this car. I still just wanted my one question answered then I was ready to move forward but when the finance manager said to me "stop acting like a child, we gave you what you wanted." when I was about to reply to this he forcefully replied "don't interrupt me, let me finish..." So, I don't know if I said this before or after I hung up on him "Alright, I'm done...I'm going with Honda." Within the next 30 min, I get a call from James, I tell him what happened. Then, I got a call from Rick, supposedly the GM of Doggett, seems nice, definitely a salesman. He was able to save the deal for his dealership. He said that he would call me when I received the car to make sure that everything was in order. I knew that these were empty words because once I signed the papers, my inquiries were left unanswered and I have not heard from anyone since. Key take aways, if you're reading this: 1) there will be hidden fees, stand your ground and work it out. 2) expect manipulative tactics. it's business after all, so treat it as such. 3) I wont be coming back to do business. The car was delivered in good shape, some dirt and crumbs in the center counsel w/ boot marks on all of the baseboards, some scratches on the hood that are too deep to buff out. My wife is pleased and she looks forward to driving it.
